Myokoji Temple

Myokoji Temple has a history of about 680 years. Temple grounds with abundant nature and greenery is one of cultural properties designated by Aichi Prefecture. The temple also possesses many cultural assets. Although many building structures of the temple have been lost to natural disasters, Chokushi-mon Gate (the Gate for the Imperial Envoys), designated as a national important cultural property, still stands as remains of the original temple.
