Since Kisogawa-cho was the birth place of Yamanouchi Kazutoyo, one of famous feudal warlords, the Kazutoyo Festival is annually held by local people. The main feature of the event is a parade of Kazutoyo wearing a body-armor and his wife Ochiyo. People dressed in gorgeous old period costumes make processions through the main streets in Kisogawa-cho.
